A Landmark with a Unique Story

Inaugurated in 1973, the Tour Montparnasse has long sparked debate among Parisians for its modern structure, rising 210 meters over a city known for its classical elegance.

Initially criticized, this skyscraper quickly cemented its place as a beloved destination. Over 750,000 visitors ascend to the observation decks each year, eager to see the Eiffel Tower and Paris’s celebrated landmarks from above.

The 59th-floor open-air terrace is a breathtaking vantage point, designed to capture 360-degree views of the city without any glass interference.

Visitors can gaze out for up to 40 kilometers in every direction, with iconic sites like the Seine River, Sacre-Coeur, and the Louvre museum spread out below.

This open terrace is particularly magical during sunset when the Eiffel Tower sparkles, creating a memorable photo opportunity for visitors seeking that perfect Parisian backdrop.
