Overview

Hop aboard Marcel le Canard, the first French amphibious bus, for a unique 1 hour 45-minute journey that combines the best of Paris by land and water! The adventure kicks off with a road tour showcasing iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, and more.

The excitement reaches its peak with a thrilling “splash” as the bus plunges into the Seine near Île de Monsieur. For 20 minutes, you’ll float along the water, passing the Seine Musicale, Saint-Cloud gardens, and glimpses of La Défense’s skyline. With lively guides adding humor and passion, this is a fun-filled tour like no other!

Itinerary

Starting and ending at the same location, each 1 hour and 45-minute adventure offers a unique blend of land and water exploration. From the land, admire iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, the Pont Alexandre III, Petit Palais, Grand Palais, the Champs-Élysées, and the Arc de Triomphe. Then, glide through the Seine, taking in the stunning views of the Seine Musicale, Parc de Saint-Cloud, Bois de Boulogne, and the skyscrapers of the La Défense business district.

Departure time

The tour departs at 10:30 AM or 2:30 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a timely boarding process for everyone. The Canards de Paris team will be present at the departure point 30 minutes before each departure to assist you.

How to get there

You can reach Place Vauban by metro or bus. Take metro line 13 to the "Saint-François Xavier" stop and walk for 4 minutes, or take metro line 8 to the "Ecole Militaire" stop and walk for 13 minutes. Buses 82 or 92 stop at "Vauban - Hôtel des Invalides," and bus line 28 stops at "Duquesnes - Lowendal," just 6 minutes away on foot.
